Today we went to the Arlington National Cemetery and we saw the graves of the soldiers that died in the wars. We also saw the ceremonies where the school had a wreath put onto the grave of the unknown soldier. Then we went to the the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. At the Franklin memorial, we saw waterfalls and statues. Then we went to Mount Vernon. At Mount Vernon, we got to go and see the house that President Washington lived in. We also went to the museum and watched three videos. So we went to dinner at this place called Fuddruckers, where they served hamburgers and hot dog and things. Then we went to a Legends of Alexandria ghost tour, led by a guys named Andrew. He led us around the area of Alexandria, and told us various stories about this place. I personally thought it was the scariest thing ever. So, one of the stories was about this guy named Tom, who was like a stalker of kids between the ages of about 7 to 14 years old. One day this girl went missing, and all the police thought that Tom was the one who kidnapped her. They found her in his house beaten and dead. So for punishment, he was tied to an old oak tree, where he was shot, but someone wasn't satisfied with that, so he went up to him, and slashed his face with a hatchet. So he ended up with a scar on his face, and people still see him walking around town with his scar on his face.
